The Sterile Eye didn’t make it to the finals of the 2008 Medical Blog Awards, but some of my favorite blogs did:
Notes of an Anesthesioboist, other things amanzi, Reflections in a Head Mirror (all in the “Best literary medical weblog” category) and scan man’s notes (“Best clinical sciences weblog”).

Just discovered that I’ve been nominated for the 2008 Medical Blog Awards in the “Best Medical Technologies/Informatics” category. An honor indeed.
The finalists are announced on Monday, January 5th. The polls will then be open from Tuesday, January 6th, 2009 and will close 12 midnight on Sunday, January 18, 2009 (EST).
Finally, the winners will be announced on Friday, January 23, 2009.
