My department shoots lots of photos for the annual reports of different medical research institutes. For the 2015 annual report of the Centre for Immune Regulation (CIR) I made several conceptual photomontages that were used on the front page and as chapter separators. Check them out above.

Medgadget.com has announced an exciting medicine-themed photo contest they call Imagine Medicine. The prize is an iPad.
We are looking for fascinating medical photography that… imagines medicine. Nothing is off the table: portraits, group shots, happy shots, tragic shots, clinical shots, photoshop illustrations, macro, micro, and anything in between. Can you imagine medicine, showcase it as art, and make us wonder?
To participate, simply upload your photographs to Flickr and tag them with “imaginemedicine” and “medgadget”, by 11:59pm ET on December 5, 2010.

I have to recommend my long time favorite webcomic Lucid TV.
According to Comixpedia it chronicles the professional lives of the resident staff of the “Jim Belushi Memorial Hospital” in Juneau, Alaska. Both staff and patients in this comic represents common stereotypes taken to the extreme. « Read the rest of this entry »
