Merry christmas and a happy new year to all the reader’s of The Sterile Eye. I haven’t found the time to post as much as previous years in 2012, but I hope I have brought you some things of interest.

I’ve been busy the last few weeks editing English voice overs for all my 90+ medical videos at www.oncolex.no. While the English version of the website will not be launched yet, I can give you an exclusive sneak preview of a video right here, right now. Check out this video of a preoperative stoma marking, and tell me what you think!

As the Oncolex project now is finished, after 4 years of exciting work, I’ve been keeping my eyes open for job openings.

This week I got a job I’ve applied for and wanted badly! So from November I’ll be working as a medical photographer at the University of Oslo’s Faculty of Medicine.

I’m looking forward to broadening my scope, working with other diagnoses than cancer, new colleagues and a new location. This of course also means lots of new raw material for the blog!
