Grand Rounds Vol. 6 No. 30
April 20, 2010 § 11 Comments
Welcome to Grand Rounds Vol.6 No. 30 here at the Sterile Eye (photo credit). The theme for this edition is Visual Communication. Some of the posts address this more directly than others, so to harmonize form and content I have chosen to represent the submitted posts not by words, but by 450×150 pixels each.
None of the images are taken from the posts, but are chosen by me because they in some way or other embody the subject of the different posts. Click on the images to read the posts. Enjoy!
That’s all folks! Thanks to everyone who sent me their posts! Next week’s edition is hosted by ChronicBabe on April 27.
Image sources (top to bottom): superman, heart, photographer, prison hospital, cookies, wedding, dollar doc, pager, uterus, dog, pancreas, hospitalist, blah blah, patient & doc, diving bell couple, cushing’s, arms crossed, polycystic ovary, smoking girls, chemistry, heart trap, x-ray vision.
[…] Grand Rounds Selection! By Steve The Day is off to a great start here in Philadelphia, as I’ve learned that not one, but two Funky Heart! entries have been selected for inclusion in Grand Rounds! […]

Grand Rounds: Seeing IS Believing…
The Sterile Eye presents a compelling image-based collection of appealing medblog posts….
What an amazing exhibit of posts! A great Grand Rounds.
MDiTV’s (and my own) first Grand Rounds inclusion. I’m thrilled to be in such fine company.
Thanks for a great selection of blog posts on a theme we don’t all hear a lot about- and an interesting prompt to write about.

Amazing pictures. Thanks so much. I found my way here via the ChronicBabe website.
I gasped when I saw In Sickness and In Health. When my husband and I got married over 35 years ago, little did we know that he’d become my caregiver when I became chronically ill. But he meant it when he repeated that vow. I’m so blessed.
