Four Years!
December 11, 2011 § 1 Comment
The Sterile Eye turned four years on 11.11.11, and it passed me by! The last year haven’t been my most active in blogging, but I should have remembered that.
To celebrate four years of life, death and surgery through a lens, I bring you four “forgotten” posts (i.e. with few visits) from each year from 11.11.2007 to 11.11.2011. Here’s to more time for blogging in 2012. Enjoy!

WordPress sent me a great review of The Sterile Eye stats for 2010. Here’s a summary:
The Louvre Museum has 8.5 million visitors per year. This blog was viewed about 85,000 times in 2010. If it were an exhibit at The Louvre Museum, it would take 4 days for that many people to see it.
In 2010, there were 52 new posts, growing the total archive of this blog to 225 posts. There were 248 pictures uploaded, taking up a total of 24mb. That’s about 5 pictures per week.
The busiest day of the year was April 17th with 1,105 views. The most popular post that day was Jan van Rymsdyk – Drawer of Wombs.

I’ll spend most of the summer away from internet connections, so there won’t be any posts for some weeks. Have the best of summers and shoot some nice photos!
Summer Hibernation
June 15, 2009 § 1 Comment
I’m gradually slipping into blogging summer hibernation (photo credit). Vacation is drawing nearer, and I find myself spending more time outdoors than in front of screens. I suspect I’ll be posting very infrequently in June and July. Have a nice summer everyone!
